Ocean County Library to Present “Can You Woogie to the Boogie?”

LONG BEACH ISLAND – Ocean County Library will celebrate blues and jazz music with “Can You Woogie to the Boogie?” 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at the Long Beach Island Branch, 217 S. Central Ave. in Surf City.

Gail Storm, songwriter and musician, will play a variety of piano styles which will capture ‘blues’ and ‘boogie woogie’ music, including upbeat swing blues. Storm will also play the music of some jazz greats for a lively, fun and entertaining afternoon to remember.

The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Island Library.
